Team Building Event Institut Straumann AG
Our iPad Murder Mystery Tour concept turns ordinary city walks into an exciting team adventure full of puzzles, detective work and surprising discoveries about Freiburg im Breisgau — perfect for a team building experience in Freiburg im Breisgau. On June 4, 2025 at 4:00 PM I had the pleasure of welcoming nine colleagues from Institut Straumann AG as a CityHunters team guide for just such a tour.
We met at Heinrich-von-Stephan-Straße, where I briefly explained the format and split the group into two teams. Each team received an iPad with our app, which set the order of the cases and the route through the city. After a short tutorial on using the device, the teams set off independently, motivated and in friendly competition for the most points.
The route took us past some of the most beautiful spots in Freiburg im Breisgau: the striking Freiburg im Breisgau Minster provided an impressive backdrop, the Martinstor added a touch of history, and the Augustinermuseum revealed the citys cultural flair. The iPads delivered clues and tasks to be solved together; points were awarded for correct puzzle solutions and for creative completion of the team challenges. I remained reachable by phone throughout the tour in case anyone needed help or a quick tech check.
The weather was changeable, which gave the afternoon a special charm — rain breaks became chances to huddle and brainstorm, while the fresh air kept energy and pace high. The mood stayed positive; everyone had fun and visibly strengthened their team spirit. For us at CityHunters that is exactly the heart of the team building experience in Freiburg im Breisgau: laughing together, solving problems and sharing moments of success.
After two hours we met again at Heinrich-von-Stephan-Straße for the awards ceremony. The winning team was celebrated in the final debrief, but the real prize was the time spent together. This interactive format clearly shows how a team building experience in Freiburg im Breisgau, while exploring the city from the Minster to the Martinstor, brings people together and leaves a lasting impression.
