Team Building Event Haemonetics S.A.
Vienna is the perfect stage for discovery, culture and shared experiences.
As a CityHunters team guide I had the pleasure of leading a fantastic company event for Haemonetics S.A. on June 4, 2025 at 5:00 pm. The meeting point was the Opernpassage, where I warmly welcomed the 31 participants and gave a brief introduction to using the iPads and the CityHunters App. The group was split into five teams and then we were off: a real team building experience in Vienna with high-tech, excitement and city exploration.
Our iPad Tour blends modern technology with playful challenges: each team used its iPad as a central hub, solved puzzles, tackled creative team tasks and navigated the city center independently. The tasks led the groups past well-known sights such as St. Stephen's Cathedral, the Hofburg and the Kunsthistorisches Museum Vienna — a lovely mix of history and interaction.
During the tour the teams were on their own, competing in a friendly race for the highest score. Points were awarded for correctly solving puzzles and for mastering challenges together. I remained reachable by phone throughout the game in case of technical questions or small issues. The CityHunters App displayed scores in real time, adding extra excitement and motivation.
After exactly two hours all groups met again for the award ceremony at the Opernpassage. Team Haemo Avengers claimed first place with 170 points, followed by Craig Rucks Team Won with 165 points and What! with 155 points. All participants received personalized certificates as keepsakes and the winning team was additionally honored with medals.
The weather cooperated — perfect conditions for a successful team building experience in Vienna. The combination of competition, communication and shared achievement made the evening a true highlight for colleagues. A team building experience in Vienna can be lively, creative and genuinely connecting.
I am already looking forward to the next event and to giving more groups the chance to experience Vienna this way.
