Team Building Event Dr. Ganteführer, Marquardt & Partner mbB
Düsseldorf presented itself on June 4 as lively and welcoming, the perfect setting for our Murder Mystery Geocaching event. As a CityHunters team guide I met the 17 participants from Dr. Ganteführer, Marquardt & Partner mbB at 2:00 pm at the meeting point in front of the Uerige Obergärige Hausbrauerei on Berger Straße and looked forward to an exciting afternoon full of puzzles and team spirit.
After a short introduction the participants were split into three teams. Each team received a tablet with our dedicated app, which showed the next crime scenes and tasks. This way our format combines modern technology with adventure and makes a team building experience in Düsseldorf a lively affair. The mix of mental challenges and group tasks provided motivation and good spirits from the very beginning.
During the tour the teams were on their own and competed in a friendly contest for the most points. They solved tricky riddles, completed team tasks and gathered clues at various distinctive spots around the city. The investigation led past well-known locations — with views of the Rheinturm, along the elegant Königsallee and close to the Museum Kunstpalast — offering fresh perspectives on Düsseldorf.
I remained reachable by phone throughout the game to help with technical questions or uncertainties, but otherwise acted as an observer and companion. That balance encouraged initiative and strengthened cohesion, exactly what an effective team building experience in Düsseldorf is all about. The atmosphere was consistently positive and constructive, with lots of laughter and creative problem solving.
After three hours all teams met back at the starting point to compare scores and celebrate the awards. The tally produced a surprising twist: the winning team was Team 99/100 with 0 points. What was praised most was enthusiasm, team spirit and the fun everyone shared.
Such team building events show how well solving puzzles together brings people closer. A team building experience in Düsseldorf is not only effective but also great fun and leaves lasting memories for the group.
