Team Building Event Rödl GmbH RAG StBG
The weather was perfect, bathing us in bright sunshine for a wonderful afternoon in Bamberg.
As a team guide for CityHunters I had the pleasure of leading a Murder Mystery Geocaching for the colleagues from Rödl GmbH RAG StBG on June 3, 2025 at 1:30 PM. The meeting point was on Geyerswörthstraße in the heart of the old town — an ideal starting spot for our team building event. After a brief introduction the 15 participants were split into three teams and given tablets with an app that guided them through our cases and tasks.
The teams then set off on their own to follow the trail: collecting clues, solving puzzles and tackling team challenges — all with the goal of earning as many points as possible. The route led us past well-known sights: from Bamberg Cathedral to the Old Town Hall and up to the Michelsberg Benedictine Monastery. Sightseeing became an active experience and a playful team building experience in Bamberg.
During the tour we were available by phone as team guides in case questions or technical issues arose. The atmosphere was consistently cheerful and focused: teams brainstormed, discussed and divided tasks according to each member's strengths. That very mix makes our Murder Mystery Geocaching an ideal tool for a team building experience in Bamberg — successes are celebrated together and challenges are overcome together.
After about two and a half hours all groups met again at Geyerswörthstraße for the awards ceremony. The standings showed how close and exciting the competition was: the winner was the team Donut with 255 points. In second place was Bamburger with 240 points, followed by Fünf Engel für Julia with 210 points.
It was a day full of fun, excitement and genuine teamwork — ideal for a team building experience in Bamberg and for anyone who wants to see their city from a new perspective. I am already looking forward to the next team building event and to guiding more groups on the trail through Bamberg.
