Team Building Event BKK Landesverband Süd
The 20 participants from BKK Landesverband Süd met on June 4, 2025 at 10:00 AM at Kornmarkt in Heidelberg, excited, motivated and ready for a special team building experience in Heidelberg.
As the CityHunters team guide I welcomed the group, briefly explained the plan and divided the participants into four teams. After the introduction each team received a tablet with the CityHunters app and off they went: pure Geocaching combined with tricky puzzles and creative team challenges. During the tour the teams were on their own, competing in friendly rivalry for the most points. I stayed reachable by phone the whole time in case any questions or problems arose.
The route took us through the heart of Heidelberg to well known and hidden spots, from the impressive backdrop of Heidelberg Castle to the historic Old Bridge, the Church of the Holy Spirit and the University Library of Heidelberg. The rather gray sky and light drizzle created a special atmosphere rather than dampening it: the city felt even more mysterious, and the teams came alive as they worked out solutions together.
The tasks valued not only speed but above all teamwork, creativity and powers of observation. Points were awarded for correctly solved puzzles and successfully completed team challenges, and the joy of experiencing it together was evident everywhere. That is exactly what makes a team building experience in Heidelberg so valuable: shared challenges reveal new insights into each person’s strengths and strengthen the sense of togetherness.
After 2.5 hours all teams met again at Kornmarkt for the awards ceremony. The winning team Schloss took first place with 270 points. In second place were Die Füchse with 255 points, closely followed by Die Dreier in third with the same 255 points, an exciting finale.
It was an active, joyful morning full of laughter, creative solutions and newly formed connections. Anyone looking for a lasting team building experience in Heidelberg will find adventure, city discovery and genuine team cohesion all in one.
