Team Building Event LSH Lübecker Schrotthandel GmbH
Lübeck impresses with its historic old town, maritime atmosphere and the distinctive towers that make history palpable on every walk.
On May 26, 2025 at 5:30 PM I had the pleasure of accompanying an iPad Murder Mystery Tour as a CityHunters team guide for ten colleagues from LSH Lübecker Schrotthandel GmbH. The meeting point was Willy-Brandt-Allee, where we briefly explained the program, handed out the tablets and split the participants into teams — two motivated groups then set off.
The mood was cheerful and focused from the start: during our team building experience in Lübeck the goal was to find clues, solve puzzles and complete short team tasks. The iPads guided the groups digitally through the city, showed the route and unlocked each case as soon as they reached the right locations. The route passed landmarks like the Holstentor, St. Marys Church and the St. Annes Museum Quarter — perfect backdrops for exciting investigations.
During the tour the teams were on their own and competed in friendly rivalry. Points were awarded for correctly solved puzzles and well-executed tasks. I was available by phone throughout in case of technical questions or uncertainties, so support was always ensured.
The weather cooperated, making the time outdoors especially pleasant. After roughly 1 hour and 45 minutes everyone met back at Willy-Brandt-Allee for the awards ceremony. The winning team Die Schrottls impressed with 180 points and took the day. In second place was team Tyra with 105 points — congratulations to both teams.
Experiences like this show once again how effective a team building experience in Lübeck can be: solving puzzles together, coordinating and celebrating successes strengthens teamwork in a lasting way.
