Team Building Event Stadt Ulm
As a CityHunters team guide I had the pleasure on May 26, 2025 at 9:30 AM of leading a large Geocaching event for 41 employees of the city of Ulm. The meeting point was the Verschwörhaus at the Weinhof, where I welcomed the group, gave a brief introduction and explained the schedule. After the briefing the teams received their devices with the CityHunters app and set off full of anticipation.
The participants were divided into 7 teams and headed toward the old town, ready to discover Ulm in a playful new way. The route took them past striking landmarks: Ulm Minster, the historic town hall and the Ulm Museum. Riddles and team tasks awaited them at every stop, earning points and fostering team spirit. During the tour the groups worked independently and competed in a friendly way for the highest score. I remained reachable by phone in case questions or minor problems arose.
The sunny weather helped create a great atmosphere and inspired the teams to approach the challenges with energy and creativity. Whether it involved cracking codes, sharpening powers of observation or solving tricky tasks together, collaborative thinking was required everywhere. That is exactly what makes our format so effective: team building experience in Ulm happens almost automatically while exploring the city and having fun together.
After three hours all teams met again at the Verschwörhaus at the Weinhof for the awards ceremony. There was tension in the air as the points were added up. Standing at the top of the podium was the team Die famosen 5 with 345 points. Close behind were 2 Gewinnt with 330 points, followed by 4 Gewinnt with 315 points. Congratulations to the winners and a big round of applause for all participants for a fair and committed competition.
Events like this demonstrate once more how effective team building experience in Ulm can be: playful, energizing and connecting. Anyone who wants to experience Ulm off the beaten path will find in Geocaching a perfect combination of sightseeing, puzzles and teamwork. I am already looking forward to the next team building event and many more hours of team spirit and discoveries in this beautiful city.
