Team Building Event Angst+Pfister GmbH
Sundern impresses with its charming townscape, lively corners and green surroundings — the perfect setting for an active team building event.
As a CityHunters team guide, on 22 May 2025 at 3:00 pm I welcomed 17 colleagues from Angst+Pfister GmbH at Hotel Gut Funkenhof on Altenhellefelder Street. After a brief introduction the participants were split into three teams, eagerly preparing for the city tour.
Our Geocaching format took the group on a discovery tour through the town center: armed with tablets and the CityHunters app they visited notable spots, hidden corners and well-known sights like St. Johannes (Sundern) and the Old Kornbrennerei. The mix of puzzles, observation and creative team tasks once again demonstrated how well playful challenges can promote a team building experience in Sundern.
During the tour the teams were on their own and competed in friendly rivalry for the highest score. Points were awarded for correctly solved riddles and tasks completed together — the joy of working as a team was always at the forefront. I remained available by phone in case technical questions or other queries arose.
After 2.5 hours everyone reconvened at Hotel Gut Funkenhof for the awards ceremony. The tension quickly gave way to applause: first place went to team Powerturtles with 390 points, followed by Eriks with 345 points and Frauenpower,flo? with 330 points. The top three teams received well-deserved medals — an emotional finale to a committed team effort.
The weather cooperated, the mood was upbeat and the activities once again showed how effective and entertaining a team building experience in Sundern can be. Anyone who wants to discover the town while strengthening team spirit will find ideal conditions here: exciting challenges, charming places and genuine shared experiences.
