Team Building Event Msg for banking ag
On May 21, 2025 at 2:00 PM, the 49 participants from Msg for banking ag met punctually on Erbprinzenstraße, ready for an exciting Murder Mystery Geocaching through Karlsruhe.
As team guide I welcomed the group, gave a brief overview of the concept, and divided the participants into eight teams. Equipped with tablets and our dedicated app, the teams set off in search of clues: the interactive Murder Mystery Geocaching took them past well-known spots such as Karlsruhe Palace, the Staatliche Kunsthalle and the Center for Art and Media Technology, turning city exploration into an active team building experience in Karlsruhe.
During the tour the teams operated independently and enjoyed a friendly competition for the highest score. Points were earned by correctly solved puzzles and team tasks completed together. I was available by phone throughout the game in case questions or technical issues arose, but most challenges were handled confidently by the teams themselves.
The weather was changeable, but that did not dampen the mood. A few rain showers added a bit of drama and fostered camaraderie: coordinating under an umbrella, briefly consulting at a gate of the Badisches Staatstheater, or puzzling over a clue in front of the Kunsthalle—moments like these really strengthened team spirit. Any rain-related slowdowns quickly turned into extra motivation.
After two hours all teams met again on Erbprinzenstraße for the joint awards ceremony. The suspense was high: Team Friedrich claimed first place with 195 points. In second place came Team Criminal Minds with 180 points, closely followed by Team Holmes, also with 180 points.
This event once again demonstrated how much fun and impact a team building experience in Karlsruhe can have: puzzles, culture and collaborative problem-solving bring colleagues together in a lively way. I am already looking forward to the next Murder Mystery Geocaching and to more groups who want to discover Karlsruhe from a new perspective.
