Team Building Event Thüringer Fernwasserversorgung
The sunny morning of May 19, 2025 offered perfect conditions for our event in Erfurt.
As a team guide I welcomed 49 participants from Thüringer Fernwasserversorgung at Kreuzgasse at 09:00. After a brief introduction we set off on our Murder Mystery Geocaching, an exciting blend of interactive whodunit, city exploration and modern technology. The group was split into eight teams and given tablets with the app that guided them to the next crime scenes and tasks.
The objective was clear: solve puzzles and complete team challenges correctly to score as many points as possible. The teams were on their own during the tour and explored Erfurt independently—past the striking silhouette of Erfurt Cathedral, across the historic Krämerbrücke and near the Old Synagogue. In this way the city walk turned into an immersive team building experience in Erfurt that tested both brains and team spirit.
I was available by phone throughout the game in case any questions or minor problems arose. After three hours of intensive clue hunting and plenty of fun, all teams met back at Kreuzgasse for the debrief and awards ceremony. It was a memorable moment when the results were announced: winner was team T5W with 359 points. In second place came Geburtstags Gruppe, also with 359 points, followed by Die glorreichen 7 with 344 points.
This event once again demonstrated how effective a team building experience in Erfurt can be: teamwork, communication and collaborative problem solving were at the heart of it—all set against a beautiful urban backdrop that also features, for example, the Augustinian Monastery and the Predigerkirche. The atmosphere was uniformly positive, and participants went home with a strong sense of shared achievement.
Anyone who wants to rediscover Erfurt and strengthen team cohesion will find our Murder Mystery Geocaching a sustainable and entertaining team building experience.
I look forward to the next assignments in this great city.
