Team Building Event Endemol Shine Germany GmbH
Perfect weather accompanied our Murder Mystery Geocaching and put everyone in a great mood from the very start in Cologne.
As the team guide for CityHunters, I welcomed the 17 participants from Endemol Shine Germany GmbH at Theo-Burauen-Platz on 16 May 2025 at 2:30 PM. After a short briefing from me as operations leader, colleagues were split into three teams and given the necessary clues along with tablets running the event app that would guide them safely through the cases.
Our format combines the spirit of a Scavenger Hunt with detective instinct: the teams set off independently, gathered clues, solved puzzles and tackled joint team tasks. I was available by phone at all times in case questions came up or app support was needed. That kept the game flowing and fair, with fun always the priority.
On their tour the groups discovered Cologne from a new perspective: from the impressive silhouette of the Cologne Cathedral to the bustling Hohenzollern Bridge and on to Museum Ludwig — familiar places became exciting crime scenes. That exact experience is what makes our team building event so special for everyone involved and sustainably strengthens team cohesion.
The competition for the highest score stayed exciting until the end. Points were awarded for correctly solved puzzles and successfully completed team tasks. After three hours all teams gathered again at Theo-Burauen-Platz for the joint awards ceremony. There was great joy when the winning team was announced: Simons Gezelige club secured first place with 360 points. Jauchs lauchs came in second with 270 points, followed by Oceans6 with 255 points.
Experiences like these show how effective a team building experience in Cologne can be: it combines playful challenge with real collaboration and leaves lasting memories. Anyone who wants to discover Cologne while strengthening team spirit will find exactly the right thing with us.
