Team Building Event Anton Paar ProveTec GmbH
The twelve participants from Anton Paar ProveTec GmbH met on time at Platz der Einheit, ready for an exciting Murder Mystery Geocaching through Potsdam.
As the team guide I welcomed the group, gave a brief rundown of the schedule and divided everyone into teams – three motivated teams then set off with their tablets and the dedicated app. The technology guided the teams to various crime scenes around the city, where they solved puzzles, collected clues and completed team tasks. This is how a team building experience in Potsdam can be experienced: playful, challenging and full of aha moments.
During the tour the teams were on their own and engaged in a friendly competition for the most points. I was reachable by phone for questions or technical issues, which let the event run smoothly without interrupting the investigations. Participants discovered Potsdam from new perspectives and passed well-known sights including the Brandenburger Tor, the Museum Barberini and the Marmorpalais – perfect backdrops for our interactive murder mystery.
The tasks promoted not only logical thinking but above all communication and collaboration. Solving the puzzles made clear how different strengths within a team can work together – a central aspect of a team building experience in Potsdam. Many moments were marked by laughter, team spirit and the shared sense of accomplishment when a clue pointed them in the right direction.
After three hours all teams met again at Platz der Einheit for the award ceremony. The scoreboard showed a tight head-to-head race: victory went to Team CrimeDreamer with 300 points, second place to Team Monk with 285 points, and third place to Team Internal Monsters with 210 points. The mood at the award ceremony was exuberant and proud – exactly how a successful team building experience should be.
The weather cooperated and rounded off the day. For me as team guide this event remains an excellent example of how much fun and lasting team cohesion a well planned Murder Mystery Geocaching in Potsdam can create. Team building experience in Potsdam? Definitely recommended – challenging, varied and unforgettable.
