Team Building Event Boehringer-Ingelheim
The 17 participants from Boehringer-Ingelheim met on time at the SEEhotel Friedrichshafen at Bahnhofplatz, ready for an active city adventure.
As the CityHunters team guide I welcomed the group, gave a brief overview of the schedule and divided everyone into teams – three motivated groups formed and set off with tablets and our CityHunters app. That was the start of our Geocaching, an interactive team building experience in Friedrichshafen where puzzles had to be solved and creative team tasks completed.
The tour led the teams through Friedrichshafen's lively city center, taking them to well-known spots and hidden corners of the town. Highlights such as the Zeppelin Museum, the Schlosskirche Friedrichshafen and parts of the history trail were stops where combined tasks, small challenges and quiz questions awaited. Participants worked independently, competed in a friendly spirit and earned points through correct answers and good teamwork.
During the two hours the teams were largely on their own, though I was reachable by phone at any time if questions or technical problems arose. That is exactly what makes our format special: it combines a sense of adventure with targeted team building experience in Friedrichshafen and fosters communication, creativity and joint decision-making.
At the agreed time all groups returned to the SEEhotel Friedrichshafen at Bahnhofplatz to go over the results and celebrate the awards. In great weather and high spirits the team The Winners took first place with 360 points. Second place went to CMC Felchen with 330 points, closely followed by Lost and found also with 330 points – an exciting finish!
Geocaching in Friedrichshafen was once again a successful mix of fun, competition and effective team building experience. It was a pleasure to see colleagues grow closer and rediscover the city. I look forward to the next adventure with you in this beautiful city.
