Team Building Event Bain Capital Private Equity (Europe), LLP
Under bright sunshine our iPad Tour in Centre got off to a perfect start — ideal weather for a relaxed and energetic team building event. On May 14, 2025 at 5:45 PM I welcomed and received 17 colleagues from Bain Capital Private Equity (Europe), LLP at the Hôtel Royal Saint-Honoré on Rue Saint-Honoré as a CityHunters team guide.
After a brief introduction to the CityHunters app and how to use the iPads, participants were split into three teams. The atmosphere was instantly positive: everyone was excited to rediscover Centre and solve challenges together. Our iPad Tour blends history, culture and modern technology — turning the walk through the city into an exciting competition for points and creativity.
The teams set off on their own and explored well-known corners of Centre, passing the Louvre, the impressive façade of Notre-Dame de Paris and green oases like the Jardin du Luxembourg. At various stations they faced puzzles, photo and team tasks that required observation, inventiveness and collaboration. The CityHunters app displayed the scores in real time and kept all groups connected — keeping the competition thrilling until the last minute.
As team guide I was reachable by phone throughout to help with questions or technical issues, but I deliberately stayed in the background so the teams could truly work together. A team building experience in Centre for us means developing your own strategies, finding roles within the team and celebrating successes together — exactly what we experienced that evening.
After one and a half hours everyone reconvened at the Hôtel Royal Saint-Honoré for the awards ceremony. I had the pleasure of crowning the winning team Les Champignon with 195 points. In the next positions were Champy and Triumph with 150 points each — a close race marked by great team spirit and fun.
It was a thoroughly successful evening: a team building experience in Centre with culture and technology united, a great atmosphere and many shared memories. Moments like these strengthen togetherness and invite you to discover Centre again and again.
