Team Building Event TenneT TSO GmbH
On May 8, 2025, as a CityHunters team guide I had the pleasure of leading a lively Geocaching event for 15 employees of TenneT TSO GmbH in Hanover. We met at the central starting point Goseriede, where I welcomed the group, explained the rules, and handed out the equipment — tablets with our CityHunters app. After a brief briefing the participants were split into three teams and the hunt began.
The sun accompanied us with perfect weather, and the atmosphere was both cheerful and focused from the start. Our three groups set off to explore the city and engaged in an exciting competition for the most points. This was team building experience in Hanover in action: tricky puzzles and creative team tasks required communication and problem-solving, allowing every team member to contribute their strengths.
The route took the teams to well-known and lesser-known spots around the city — from the impressive New Town Hall to the historic Market Church and the Leine Palace. At each station there were small challenges that demanded careful observation while being fun at the same time. Although the teams were on their own, I stayed reachable by phone throughout the tour to assist with any questions or technical issues.
The dynamic was great: sometimes teams discussed together, sometimes quick decisions were needed, and laughter kept breaking out whenever a puzzle was solved or a creative solution was found. It is exactly this mix of adventure, competition and shared joy that makes our offering an ideal component for a successful team building experience in Hanover.
After exactly three hours everyone met back at the starting point for the award ceremony. Congratulations to the winning team A Team with 345 points! In second place were the Relic Hunters with 315 points, followed by Die Guten with 225 points. The final review was a fitting, motivating end to an active morning.
Events like this show once again that a team building experience in Hanover combines hands-on learning, strengthens cohesion, and creates unforgettable shared moments. I look forward to the next time we rediscover the city and watch teams grow together.
