Team Building Event Festo SE & Co. KG
Our Geocaching event combined city exploration, puzzle fun and team spirit into a lively experience: exactly the concept that makes a team building experience in Weinstadt come alive in a new way.
As a CityHunters team guide I had the pleasure of welcoming 16 colleagues from Festo SE & Co. KG at Landgut Burg in Weinstadt on May 5, 2025 at 5:20 PM. After a short introduction and splitting into three teams, the tour began with clear rules and the technology that ran the tasks. Our format followed familiar building blocks: a short briefing, receiving the clues and then heading out into the city — all in the spirit of an active team building experience in Weinstadt.
The teams were on their own during the route and competed against each other in a friendly rivalry. Points were awarded for correctly solving puzzles and for creative team challenges. Along the way the tasks led to attractive city spots: from the Evangelical Church to the Käppele and on to the Rialto Bridge — always accompanied by little anecdotes and tricky questions that encouraged conversation. This way participants not only discovered the surroundings but also strengthened their collaboration.
I was reachable by phone throughout the tour and helped with any uncertainties, but the groups mostly worked independently and with great enthusiasm. With good weather and high spirits the two hours flew by. Afterwards all teams met again at Landgut Burg for the joint awards ceremony, a fitting end to our Geocaching experience.
The results caused great excitement: the winners were team Wetterfrösche with 255 points. In second place were Burghelden with 240 points, closely followed by The Winners also with 240 points. Moments like these — suspense, cheering and celebrating together — are what make the team building experience in Weinstadt so valuable.
For me the evening remains a lovely example of how fun, competitive drive and cooperative problem solving can combine into a lasting team building experience.
