Team Building Event All for One Group SE
As a CityHunters team guide I accompanied a lively iPad Tour on April 8, 2025 at 4:30 p.m. for 18 colleagues from All for One Group SE in Heidelberg. The meeting point and finish was Universitaetsplatz, a perfect starting point for our shared experience. After a short introduction to the iPads and the CityHunters App the participants were split into three teams and the race for the most points began.
Our iPad Tour playfully combined technology with a spirit of discovery: the teams navigated the city on their own, solved puzzles, completed team tasks and collected points. The mix of history, culture and modern challenges produced many aha moments, from the Ruprecht-Karls-Universität Heidelberg to the impressive Heidelberg Castle and the Old Bridge. It became clear how well a team building experience in Heidelberg complements a city exploration.
During the roughly two-hour tour I was available by phone to help with questions or technical issues. The CityHunters App kept all teams connected in real time, scores were visible and the competition created a motivating dynamic. It was especially rewarding to see how different strategies played out, how team communication grew and how much fun the shared challenges brought.
After exactly two hours all teams met back at Universitaetsplatz for the award ceremony. The atmosphere was exuberant and proud. The winning team, Team 1, finished with 315 points and received well-deserved medals. In second place were Heroes with 300 points, and in third place New Kids on the block with 255 points. Small prizes, recognition and sincere praise rounded off the team building event.
The weather cooperated and added to the positive atmosphere, creating ideal conditions for a successful team building experience in Heidelberg. Experiences like this show that a team building experience in Heidelberg is not only fun but also strengthens collaboration and leaves lasting shared memories. I look forward to the next team building event and to many more groups who want to discover our city in this interactive way.
