Team Building Event Gemeinde Grünwald Kinderhaus Max
The day began with perfect spring weather – an ideal start for our Geocaching adventure on 22.03.2025 at 11:00 at Odeonsplatz in Old Town. I had the pleasure of guiding 12 enthusiastic participants from Gemeinde Grünwald Kinderhaus Max and there was a buzz of excitement in the air.
At Odeonsplatz I welcomed the group, outlined the plan and explained how to use the tablets with the CityHunters app. After a short briefing the participants were split into three teams and off they went: a genuine team building experience in Old Town, paired with exciting challenges and plenty of explorer spirit.
The teams were on their own during the tour and engaged in a friendly competition for the most points. Points were awarded for correctly solved puzzles and joint team tasks – exactly the mix that creates real group chemistry during a team building experience in Old Town. I was available by phone for questions; otherwise the teams were free to move through the city center and see sights like the Frauenkirche, the Deutsches Museum and the Neues Rathaus in a new light.
The variety of tasks demanded creativity, sharp eyes and above all cooperation. It was wonderful to watch roles develop within the teams and to see ideas being pooled. The atmosphere was consistently positive and energetic – exactly the aim of a team building experience in Old Town: have fun, grow together and rediscover the city.
After two intense hours everyone met again at Odeonsplatz for the awards ceremony. The winning team Wir sind wir took first place with 210 points, followed by First Ones with 195 points and Sunny Girls with 180 points. The joy over the results and the shared experiences was great, and the beaming faces said more than words.
Events like this combine adventure, team spirit and sightseeing in Old Town perfectly. As a team guide I always enjoy seeing groups come together through Geocaching and rediscover the city – a recommendation for anyone looking for a sustainable team building experience in Old Town.
