Team Building Event TenneT
Bayreuth combines culture, history and a lively cityscape in a unique way — ideal for an active team building event.
On March 19, 2025 at 2:45 PM I, as a CityHunters team guide, had the pleasure of starting the iPad Tour for 45 employees of TenneT at Hotel Rheingold on Austraße. After a brief introduction to the CityHunters app and the iPads, the participants were split into seven motivated teams — and the adventure began.
The route took the groups through the city center and past well-known sights such as the Margravial Opera House, Haus Wahnfried and the New Palace Bayreuth. At various stations challenging puzzles, photo and team tasks awaited, where communication, creativity and speed mattered most. Our technology displayed the scores in real time, so the competitive spirit and motivation stayed high throughout the game.
During the tour the teams were on their own and organized themselves independently — I was reachable by phone at any time in case of technical questions or uncertainties. Perfect spring weather helped too: great moods, lots of laughter and genuine team moments made the afternoon unforgettable. This is how a team building experience in Bayreuth was enjoyed playfully while discovering the city in a new way.
After two hours all groups met back at Hotel Rheingold for the joint awards ceremony. The scores were close and the atmosphere fantastic: The winner was the team Optimisten 2025 with 360 points. In second place came ???!!! with 330 points, closely followed by Gummibärchenbande with 315 points. Congratulations to all teams for their commitment and creativity!
The iPad Tour combines history, modern technology and genuine togetherness — an excellent format for a team building experience in Bayreuth. Anyone who wants to experience the city benefits not only from cultural highlights like the art museum or the Markgrafenbrunnen, but also from moments that bring the team closer together. I am already looking forward to the next team building event in Bayreuth!
