Team Building Event Caritas-Zentrum St. Vinzenz
Ingolstadt continually surprises with its exciting mix of history and urban life — the perfect backdrop for an active team building event.
As a team guide for CityHunters, I welcomed 13 participants from the Caritas Center St. Vinzenz at the Tourist Information at the Old Town Hall on March 15, 2025 at 9:30 AM. After a short introduction we split the group into three teams and explained the Murder Mystery Geocaching format: tablets running our app guided the teams to crime scenes, provided puzzles and tasks, and turned familiar places into small stages for mysterious cases.
The mood was motivated and cheerful from the outset — exactly what a good team building experience in Ingolstadt is all about. The teams were largely on their own during the tour and competed against each other in good spirits. Points were awarded for correctly solved puzzles and for team tasks completed together. I remained available by phone throughout the game in case any questions or technical issues arose.
Our route led the groups past some of the city's most beautiful spots: from the New Castle to the impressive Münster Zur Schönen Unserer Lieben Frau and other notable locations like the German Museum of Medical History. These sights took on a new role through the investigative tasks and invited participants to discover Ingolstadt from a different perspective — genuine team building experience in Ingolstadt that brings people together and is fun.
After exactly three hours everyone returned to the Tourist Information at the Old Town Hall for the joint award ceremony. There was great excitement about the results: the winners were the team Mrs marple with 270 points, followed by the Goldies with 240 points and Agent 00 Hase with 195 points. The weather cooperated, the participants were in high spirits, and the sense of team cohesion was noticeably strengthened.
Experiences like this show how much fun a well-organized Murder Mystery Geocaching event can be and how strongly it fosters togetherness.
