Team Building Event Allianz SE
The weather was perfect: blue skies and a pleasant breeze accompanied our afternoon in Starnberg.
As the CityHunters team guide, I welcomed 14 participants from Allianz SE at Schiffbauerweg by the Nepomukbrücke in Starnberg. After a brief introduction we split the group into three teams and explained how it would work.
Each team received a tablet with the CityHunters app preinstalled and set off on an exciting Geocaching tour. The goal was to collect as many points as possible by correctly solving puzzles and completing collaborative team challenges. During the tour the teams were on their own in fair competition, and I was available by phone at any time if they needed support.
Our route took the teams to well-known and charming corners of the town. At stops such as Museum Starnberger See, the Historic Kaufhaus and Starnberg Castle, teams could not only solve puzzles but also soak up the atmosphere and stories of each place. Those kinds of discoveries are what make a team building experience in Starnberg so special.
The mix of puzzle fun, small challenges and shared creative problem-solving encouraged communication and cohesion — a typical team building experience in Starnberg that is enjoyable and brings people together. Seeing colleagues contribute different strengths is always rewarding.
After two hours all teams regrouped at Schiffbauerweg by the Nepomukbrücke for the awards ceremony. Tension was high as the points were tallied.
First place went to Lake Tigers with a strong 210 points. In second place was SillyHunters with 150 points, and third place went to Amaz with 120 points. Congratulations to all teams — the friendly competition was clearly the main focus.
I always enjoy events like this: Geocaching combines movement, curiosity and teamwork in an ideal way. For Allianz it was an entertaining and unifying afternoon that will be remembered for a long time.
