Team Building Event ING-DiBa AG
The weather could not have been better – sunny and crisp, just right for an exciting afternoon in the city. On January 30, 2025 at 2:30 PM I met the 20 participants from ING‑DiBa AG at Friedrich‑Stoltze‑Platz as their team guide; we greeted each other, warmed up briefly and split into three teams. The mood was excellent and anticipation high: an iPad Murder Mystery Tour around Frankfurt was on the agenda, promising fun and challenging tasks.
With our iPads and the CityHunters app each team received a short briefing on how to use the devices and an overview of the itinerary and map views. Then off they went – each team on its own, competing for the most points. The route led past well‑known spots like the Römer, Kaiserdom St. Bartholomäus and the Alte Oper; historic squares and pretty corners became the exciting backdrop for solving puzzles together. Team building experience in Frankfurt was not just a buzzword here, it was evident in every task and every exchange.
The challenge was to decode clues, combine witness statements and complete creative team tasks together. Thanks to the iPads integrated mapping features the groups found their way easily and discovered Frankfurt from a fresh perspective. I stayed reachable by phone during the tour to help with questions or technical issues – although most of the time the teams were so absorbed they were completely in competition mode.
After three hours everyone met back at Friedrich‑Stoltze‑Platz for the awards ceremony. It was a great finale: the winning team Riddler scored 160 points, closely followed by Lioncrimers with also 160 points, and in third place were Super Girls with 140 points. In bright weather and great spirits the achievements were celebrated – a perfect ending to an intense experience full of team spirit.
