Team Building Event VOSS healthcare GmbH
Our event concept combines fun, adventure and team spirit: Geocaching in Aachen guides groups playfully through the city, challenges their minds and strengthens the bonds between participants.
As the team guide I welcomed the 16 participants from VOSS healthcare GmbH at Münsterplatz on December 12, 2024 at 2:30 PM. After a short introduction we explained the schedule, handed out the tablets with the CityHunters app and split everyone into three small teams. And so the adventure began: a hands-on, interactive team building experience in Aachen.
With clear tasks and a mix of puzzles and creative team challenges the teams set off. The route took them to well-known sites like Aachen Cathedral and Aachen Town Hall as well as to less obvious corners of the city waiting to be discovered. Along the way there were stationary tasks that could only be solved as a team, quickly showing how shared problem-solving brings people together.
The weather that afternoon was mixed, but that only made the atmosphere more lively: rain boosted team spirit, wind added pace, and the good mood never faded. A team building experience in Aachen is not something that only happens in sunshine — on the contrary, facing wind and weather together strengthens the sense of togetherness.
During the tour the teams moved independently and competed in a friendly contest for the most points. Points were earned by correctly solved puzzles and successful team challenges. I was available by phone throughout to help with questions or offer small hints.
After three hours we met again at Münsterplatz for the awards ceremony. The tension was high: the winning team was Die 5 von der 2 with 375 points. In second place was Vom Fass with 330 points, closely followed by Team weltweit also with 330 points. Applause, photos and happy faces rounded off the afternoon.
Experiences like this show that Geocaching in Aachen is more than just a city game — it is a powerful tool for a team building experience in Aachen that combines fun, discovery and genuine collaboration. I am already looking forward to the next adventure in this beautiful city.
