Team Building Event EW nutrition
Cologne welcomed us with its usual energy, and the city provided the perfect backdrop for our Murder Mystery Geocaching on December 3, 2024 at 4:00 PM.
As team guide for CityHunters I greeted 16 participants from EW nutrition at Theo-Burauen-Platz. After a brief introduction to the schedule the groups were split into three teams and equipped with tablets – the app led the teams to the next crime scenes and presented the tricky cases. Technology and adventure blended into a modern experience: a genuine team building experience in Cologne.
Then it was off: three teams, gripping cases and two hours to discover the city from a completely new perspective. Participants took on the role of detectives, gathering clues, solving puzzles and completing team challenges. Whether at the foot of Cologne Cathedral, on the riverbank near the Hohenzollern Bridge, or within sight of Museum Ludwig, familiar spots became stages for mysterious stories and offered plenty of room for creativity and collaboration.
During the tour the teams were left to their own devices and competed in friendly rivalry. Points were awarded for correctly solved puzzles and successful team tasks; I was available by phone in case anyone needed support. The atmosphere was consistently positive: the weather was okay, making it ideal to stroll through the city center together and actively experience a team building experience in Cologne.
After exactly two hours everyone met back at Theo-Burauen-Platz for the award ceremony. It was heartening to see how individual colleagues grew into strong teams that communicated, planned strategically and supported one another. Moments like these show why a team building experience in Cologne is so valuable: shared activities build trust and strengthen collaboration for the long term.
As a special highlight the team Gaffel Kölsch took first place at the award ceremony — a surprise with 0 points that produced plenty of laughs and a memorable finale. Overall it was a cheerful, thrilling afternoon that will be remembered by all involved.
