Team Building Event Festo SE & Co. KG
The event concept blends city exploration, puzzle fun and teamwork into a memorable evening — exactly what our Geocaching format delivered at the CityHunters event.
As a CityHunters team guide I had the pleasure of welcoming ten colleagues from Festo SE & Co. KG at Schlossplatz in Stuttgart on November 27, 2024 at 6:00 PM. After a brief introduction and an outline of the schedule we split the group into two teams. Each team received a tablet with our CityHunters app and all the information they needed to get started.
Then we were off: the teams set out to explore Stuttgart on their own, accompanied by warm evening light and pleasant weather. Along the way they faced varied puzzles and creative team tasks that earned points. Stations led the groups to well-known spots like the Staatsgalerie Stuttgart, the Old Castle and the Stiftskirche — perfect backdrops for tricky challenges and exciting discoveries. During the competition the teams operated independently, while I stayed reachable by phone to assist with questions or technical issues.
The competitive element brought energy and motivation: each team combined smarts, strong communication and the different strengths of its members to score as many points as possible. That created exactly the effect we aim for in a team building experience in Stuttgart: intense collaboration, mutual support and many shared aha moments.
After two hours everyone regrouped at Schlossplatz for the award ceremony. The mood was lively, results were celebrated properly and there was plenty of laughter — all in the spirit of fun and lasting team building experience in Stuttgart. This event once again showed how well Geocaching works as a team format: exciting, interactive and connecting.
