Team Building Event DAKOSY AG
The 21 participants from DAKOSY AG met me promptly on the afternoon of November 15, 2024 at the Mattentwiete, ready for our iPad Murder Mystery Tour through Old Town.
After a brief welcome and introduction I split the group into four teams. Each team received an iPad with our CityHunters app, got a quick run-through of how it works, and we were off – the perfect mix of digital challenge and city exploration. This format is an excellent example of a team building experience in Old Town: exciting, active and immediately engaging.
During the roughly two-hour tour the teams worked independently, solved puzzles and completed team tasks to earn points. The challenges demanded creativity, communication and good timing – ideal ingredients for a successful team building experience in Old Town. I stayed available by phone throughout the tour in case any questions or technical issues came up.
The route led the group past some of Old Town's most beautiful sights: impressive views of the Elbphilharmonie, the atmospheric alleyways of the Speicherstadt and distinctive architecture like the Chilehaus accompanied the investigations. The weather was on our side – not perfect, but pleasant enough to keep spirits high and the fun going.
After about 2.5 hours all teams regrouped at the Mattentwiete for the award ceremony. Congratulations to the winning team Dakosy 3 with 190 points – closely followed by Team2Go, which also scored 190 points. In third place was Yin Yang with 150 points. The tight point spread once again showed how closely motivation and team spirit are linked.
As a team guide I always enjoy seeing how experiences like this bring colleagues together. The combination of puzzles, time pressure and shared goals makes the iPad Murder Mystery Tour a memorable experience for everyone involved. Anyone looking for a team building experience in Old Town will find not only thrilling entertainment but genuine team cohesion – right in the heart of this vibrant city.
