Team Building Event Frische und Service
Perfect autumn weather accompanied our iPad Murder Mystery Tour through Bamberg and put the team in a great mood from the very start.
As team guide I welcomed 18 participants from the company Frische und Service at the Tourist Information at Geyerswörth Castle on 18 October 2024 at 3:00 PM. After a brief introduction and handing out the iPads we split the group into four teams. A short rundown of the process, a quick tech check with the CityHunters app, and the teams were ready to go — real detective work and a modern team building experience in Bamberg were now on the agenda.
The iPads acted as interactive game masters: with a map view, position tracking and crime-solving tasks they led the teams to various spots around the city. Our route took the groups past impressive sights such as Bamberg Cathedral, the Old Town Hall and the Michelsberg Benedictine Monastery. Exciting discussions, creative solutions and shared puzzling cropped up again and again — exactly what a good team building experience in Bamberg is all about.
During the roughly three-hour tour the teams were left to their own devices and competed in friendly rivalry for the highest score. Points were awarded for correctly solved puzzles and successful team tasks. I was of course reachable by phone in case of technical questions or uncertainties, and I enjoyed seeing the fair competition and great atmosphere.
We met again at the Tourist Information at Geyerswörth Castle for the award ceremony. Team Seitenstechen secured first place with 190 points and received well-deserved medals. In second place was SOKO FuS with 170 points, closely followed by Team Testosteron with 140 points. Everyone was delighted — winners and fellow competitors alike enjoyed the shared experience.
This iPad Murder Mystery Tour combines exciting challenges with city exploration and at the same time strengthens team cohesion — a perfect example of a successful team building experience in Bamberg. Experiences like this stay positively in the team’s memory for a long time and show Bamberg from a lively side.
