Our event concept combines digital puzzles with real city exploration: on the iPad Murder Mystery Tour colleagues solve cases together, discover Hohenroda and playfully boost team spirit.
On 07.10.2024 at 17:00 I had the pleasure of welcoming the group from Clipmyhorse.TV Services & Development GmbH at the meeting point Schwarzengrund in Hohenroda as a CityHunters team guide. After a brief introduction to using the iPads and an overview of the schedule, we split the 26 participants into five teams. Then it was off — a pure team building experience in Hohenroda: excitement, speed and lots of fun.
The tour led the teams through charming lanes and past sights such as Hohenroda Castle, the historic market square and other architectural gems of the town. The iPads presented interactive cases to be solved on site. Points were awarded for correct puzzle solutions and creative team challenges — genuine teamwork paid off.
During the roughly two-and-a-half-hour tour the teams were on their own and competed against each other in friendly rivalry. I was available by phone for questions and helped where I could without interrupting the game fun. The weather cooperated, making the discovery tour through Hohenroda especially atmospheric. Moments like these make the team building experience in Hohenroda so special.
At the end everyone met back at the starting point for the award ceremony. It was a thrilling head-to-head race: the winning team NO. 1 scored 170 points. In second place came Null Ahnung Detektivs, also with 170 points — proof of how close and fair it was. Third place went to Whores and country with 120 points.
The mood during the debrief was buoyant and proud: colleagues who had barely known each other beforehand had worked together, laughed and celebrated solutions. The team building experience in Hohenroda works exactly like this — playful, connecting and lasting.
I already look forward to the next group and to showing more companies the city of Hohenroda from a new perspective.
