Team Building Event Rockfon
Sixty colleagues from Rockfon gathered on October 4, 2024 at 2:30 PM at the NH Collection Antwerp City on Pelikaanstraat, eager for our iPad Tour through Antwerp.
As the team guide I warmly welcomed the group and gave a brief introduction to the high-tech Scavenger Hunt: our iPad Tour combines history, culture and modern technology into an interactive experience. After a short explanation of how to use the iPads and the CityHunters App, participants were divided into nine teams and the adventure began.
The teams explored Antwerp on their own and discovered impressive sights such as the Cathedral of Our Lady, the Rubens House and the impressive Antwerp Central Station. At various stations they faced tricky puzzles and creative team tasks that earned points and provided plenty of fun.
During the tour the teams were directly competing for the highest score. The CityHunters App displayed live standings in real time and kept motivation high with a lively live feed. I was reachable by phone throughout the tour for technical or organizational questions, though the teams were largely self-sufficient and worked together with concentration.
Strategy, speed and team spirit were required: some groups scored with clever solutions, others impressed through teamwork on the challenges. The perfect weather added to the positive atmosphere and made the team building experience in Antwerp a thoroughly successful occasion.
After two and a half hours everyone met back at the NH Collection Antwerp City for the award ceremony. In first place was team Bengan Boys/Girls with 125 points, followed by Number One with 95 points and Team Jocke with 80 points. The winners received well-deserved medals and great applause — a lovely finale to a very successful team building event.
Experiences like this show how effective team building in Antwerp can be: playful, rich in experience and connecting. I already look forward to the next groups — Antwerp offers countless opportunities for exciting iPad Tours and sustainable team building experience in Antwerp.
