Team Building Event comdirect - eine Marke der Commerzbank AG
Frankfurt provided the perfect backdrop for our iPad Tour: modern skylines, historic squares and lively lanes invited everyone to explore.
As a CityHunters team guide, I met 14 participants from comdirect, a brand of Commerzbank AG, on September 27, 2024 at 2:00 PM outside the entrance to the Commerzbank Tower. After a short briefing on how to use the iPads and the CityHunters app, we explained the groups and formed the teams: three motivated teams then set off.
During our iPad Tour in Frankfurt things moved fast: the teams were largely on their own and competed in a friendly contest. Points were awarded for correctly solving puzzles and for creative team tasks, and the app displayed results in real time to keep the excitement high. I remained reachable by phone throughout the tour in case anyone needed help.
The route took the groups across downtown Frankfurt and past landmarks such as the Römer, the Alte Oper and the Kaiserdom St. Bartholomäus. This combined sightseeing with teamwork and turned the experience into a genuine team building event. At the same time we used the opportunity to put the team building experience into practice in Frankfurt: collaborative problem solving, coordinating plans and encouraging one another were at the heart of the day.
After exactly three hours everyone met again in front of the Commerzbank Tower for the awards ceremony. The joy was palpable when the winning team Team ETF was announced with 185 points. Team Manfred came in second with 175 points, followed by Stop-loss with 155 points.
As a keepsake, each participant received a personalized certificate — a small memento of a day full of laughter, teamwork and discoveries. The weather cooperated and contributed to the good mood.
Our iPad Tour blends modern technology with classic team building experience in Frankfurt: whether for a company outing or a departmental team building event, the combination of puzzles, local knowledge and team challenges makes every round a memorable experience. I am already looking forward to the next tour through Frankfurt.
