Team Building Event Forschungszentrum Borstel
Our Geocaching event combines city exploration, puzzle fun and teamwork into an exciting experience for companies and groups.
On 17.09.2024 at 10:00 I met as the team guide with 16 employees from the Forschungszentrum Borstel at the Schrangen in Lübeck. After a short welcome and an explanation of the schedule, we split the group into three teams and gave each team a tablet with the CityHunters app preinstalled. That way everyone was well prepared to tackle the tasks and puzzles in the old town.
The teams set off on their own to compete: points were awarded for correctly solving puzzles and for successful team challenges. During the tour the groups had plenty of freedom to develop strategies and motivate one another — I was available by phone in case any questions or technical issues arose. The good weather and lively atmosphere made the experience even more enjoyable.
Along the way participants discovered the best sides of Lübeck: historic landmarks like the Holstentor, impressions at St. Marys Church and quiet moments in the St. Annen museum quarter provided not just a backdrop but inspiring cues for the tasks. This combination of sightseeing and active collaboration is exactly what makes the team building experience in Lübeck so special.
After 2.5 hours all teams met again at the Schrangen for the joint awards ceremony. The tension was high and the pride in personal bests was palpable. The top spot went to the team Borsteler Eagels with 270 points, followed by Team Winner with 225 points. Regardless of the rankings, the atmosphere was marked by laughter, conversation and a tangible sense of togetherness.
Team building experience in Lübeck for us is not just a competition, but above all a shared experience that strengthens relationships and fosters creative solutions. Anyone who experiences the city in this interactive way soon notices that Geocaching brings together fun, challenge and lasting teamwork.
I am already looking forward to the next event in Lübeck and to sending teams out on another discovery tour — because team building experience in Lübeck is always a win for any company.
