Team Building Event E. Merck Beteiligungen KG
The iPad Tour combines modern technology with playful competition while strengthening team spirit – a flexible event concept that brings team building experience to life in Darmstadt.
On 14 September 2024 at 2:30 PM I welcomed the group from E. Merck Beteiligungen KG at Luisenplatz as a CityHunters team guide. Seventeen motivated participants were briefly introduced to the iPads and our CityHunters app and then split into three teams. Each team received an iPad as their hub – and so the high-tech Scavenger Hunt through the city center began.
The teams set off independently, exploring squares and well-known sights such as the Hochzeitsturm, the Russian Chapel and the Hessian State Museum, solving interactive tasks at various stations. The mix of puzzles, observation challenges and creative team tasks brought lots of fun and surprising team moments. The CityHunters app kept everyone connected in real time – scores, clues and the live chat kept the competition exciting.
During the tour the teams were on their own and could choose their strategies freely. I stayed reachable by phone in case questions or technical issues arose. The weather was fairly good and, with pleasant conditions, helped keep the mood relaxed and upbeat – ideal for team building experience in Darmstadt.
After three hours all groups met back at Luisenplatz for the joint award ceremony. The results produced a surprising outcome: the winning team Pigeonkillers emerged victorious – with 0 points, which brought plenty of laughter and a joyful atmosphere. Moments like these are exactly what make team building experience in Darmstadt so valuable: shared memories, mutual laughter and new insights into team dynamics.
