Team Building Event BAUHAUS AG
The Murder Mystery Geocaching event combines city discovery, puzzle fun and teamwork into a unique experience, and that is exactly what we experienced on 11.09.2024 at 3:00 pm with BAUHAUS AG in Cologne.
As team guide I welcomed 28 motivated participants at Theo-Burauen-Platz, divided the group into five teams and gave a brief introduction. Equipped with tablets and our dedicated app, the teams set off: an exciting mix of digital clues, tricky puzzles and active team tasks, the perfect setting for a team building experience in Cologne.
The route led the groups past well known city spots — the imposing Cologne Cathedral, the Hohenzollern Bridge and the Museum Ludwig suddenly became stages for mysterious cases and engaging challenges. Each location offered new clues and opportunities to work together on solutions. The teams were on their own throughout, competing in a friendly rivalry to collect the most points.
I remained reachable by phone as guide in case questions or technical problems arose, and I appreciated the creative approaches to solving tasks and the strong commitment from all participants. The weather was quite pleasant, with sunny stretches alternating with light cloud cover, ideal for an active city exploration and a genuine team building experience in Cologne.
After exactly three hours everyone met back at Theo-Burauen-Platz for the debrief and award ceremony. Tension was palpable as the scores were read out: winners of the afternoon were Team 2 with 285 points, followed by 2x??? with 270 points and Group 4 with 255 points. The applause showed how much joy and team spirit the event had sparked.
Activities like this are more than just a game: they encourage communication, strengthen trust and create shared memories.
For me as team guide it was a thoroughly successful afternoon that once again showed how effective a team building experience in Cologne can be, an experience that will be remembered long after.
