Team Building Event BAUHAUS AG
The eleven participants from BAUHAUS AG met punctually on September 10, 2024, at 3:00 PM at Theo-Burauen-Platz, ready for an exciting Murder Mystery Geocaching in Cologne.
As the team guide I welcomed the group, gave a brief introduction and divided everyone into three teams. After a short explanation of the rules and a look at the app on the provided tablets, the teams set off. The introduction already made clear that this event combines playful challenge with a real team experience — a perfect team building experience in Cologne.
During the tour the groups were on their own and competed in a friendly race for the most points. Points were awarded for correctly solved puzzles and successfully completed team tasks. I stayed reachable by phone throughout the game and helped quickly and straightforwardly whenever questions or small obstacles came up.
The route took the teams past well-known spots in the city; impressive backdrops like Cologne Cathedral, the Hohenzollern Bridge and the Museum Ludwig provided the perfect stage for the investigations. These familiar sights became scenes of the cases and invited participants to discover Cologne from a new perspective — exactly what makes our Murder Mystery Geocaching so valuable for team building experience in Cologne.
In three hours the teams covered a good distance, gathered clues and solved tricky challenges. The mood was consistently upbeat and focused, and the weather cooperated, contributing to a thoroughly enjoyable afternoon.
At the agreed time all groups returned to Theo-Burauen-Platz for the joint awards ceremony. With great applause we crowned the winning team Die Pfefferkörner with 270 points. In second place came the Gewinnertruppe with 240 points, closely followed by Die drei BBB, also with 240 points.
It was wonderful to see how much energy, creativity and team spirit the teams brought. Activities like this strengthen cohesion, are a lot of fun and create unforgettable memories — strong proof of how we at CityHunters make team building experience in Cologne come alive. I already look forward to the next adventure with colleagues in this vibrant city.
