Team Building Event PNE AG
As a CityHunters team guide I had the pleasure of leading a special company event on September 10, 2024: 78 employees of PNE AG met at 4:15 p.m. at the Mercure Hotel Old Town City on Amsinckstraße to take part in one of our iPad Tours. After a short briefing on using the iPads and the CityHunters app, participants were divided into 13 teams — the excitement was palpable, and the theme was team building experience in Old Town.
Our iPad Tour combines history, culture and cutting-edge technology. Teams set off to explore corners of the city and visited landmarks such as the Elbphilharmonie, the Speicherstadt and the Chilehaus. At each stop they faced interactive tasks and tricky puzzles that demanded creativity, observation and teamwork. This made team building experience in Old Town playful and vivid.
During the tour the groups were on their own and competed against each other for the highest score. Points were awarded for correctly solving puzzles and for creative team tasks — the CityHunters app displayed scores in real time and added extra motivation. As guide I was available by phone throughout in case of technical issues or questions about tasks.
The weather held up, the atmosphere was great, and you could feel colleagues supporting each other and discovering new sides to one another. Alongside the competitive spirit the shared fun was always front and center — that is exactly what makes our iPad Tour ideal: an interactive, modern team building event in Old Town that brings people together.
After about 2.75 hours all teams met again at the Mercure Hotel Old Town City for the awards ceremony. We particularly want to congratulate the winning team Windhunter — which won the day with 0 points. Moments like these strengthen the sense of togetherness and are remembered for a long time.
