Team Building Event Mesutronic GmbH
Thirty-one employees from Mesutronic GmbH met at Kohlenmarkt in Regensburg on September 6, 2024 at 11:00 AM to take part in an action-packed Geocaching event.
As the CityHunters team guide, I welcomed the group, gave a short introduction, and handed out the tablets with our CityHunters app. After a brief explanation of the format and rules we formed five teams and the adventure began: a genuine team building experience in Regensburg, combining puzzles, creative tasks, and a healthy dose of competitive spirit.
The teams explored the city independently, following coordinates to exciting locations. Along the way they rediscovered Regensburg’s beauty — passing Regensburg Cathedral, crossing the Stone Bridge and visiting the area around the Old Town Hall to solve tasks and search for clues. The game format encourages communication and cooperation; everyone contributed their strengths to the team’s success. I remained reachable by phone throughout in case any questions or technical issues came up.
Points were earned by correctly solving puzzles and completing team challenges. Our app guided the teams through the stations and led them to new, surprising spots — a great example of an interactive team building experience in Regensburg. The weather cooperated and kept spirits high for everyone involved.
After three hours everyone met back at Kohlenmarkt for the awards ceremony. Tension ran high as the results were announced: the winners were Team Eddy with 360 points, followed by Team EGM with 330 points and Team Good Vibes Burger in third place with 315 points. Applause, photos and many smiling faces provided the perfect finish.
This event once again showed how effective a team building experience in Regensburg can be: varied, experience-oriented and genuinely connecting.
