Team Building Event KPMG AG Wirtschaftsprüfungsgesellschaft
Our Murder Mystery Geocaching blends thrilling investigative work with digital navigation, turning a city tour into an immersive adventure for everyone involved. On September 5, 2024 at 2:00 PM I had the pleasure of guiding a fantastic team building event that took 20 colleagues from KPMG AG Wirtschaftsprüfungsgesellschaft across Frankfurt in five teams.
The meeting point was Friedrich-Stoltze-Platz, where I welcomed the group and gave a brief introduction to the game concept. After dividing into five teams and handing out the tablets, our Scavenger Hunt began. The app led the teams to various crime scenes in the city center where they had to solve puzzles and complete team tasks together. Technology met adventure as the tablets guided everyone to the next clue.
During the tour the teams were largely on their own, competing for the highest score. Points were earned by correctly solving puzzles and working together on challenges. I stayed reachable by phone in case anyone needed help but deliberately kept to the background so the authentic investigative experience could take hold.
The route led participants past well known landmarks and showcased Frankfurt's diversity: from the Römer to the Kaiserdom St. Bartholomäus and on to the Alte Oper, always with a focus on teamwork and shared success. Perfect weather provided the ideal backdrop for this team building experience in Frankfurt, combining game fun with city exploration.
After exactly three hours all teams returned to Friedrich-Stoltze-Platz for the award ceremony. The winning team was Health Angels with 240 points. In second place was Dreamteam with 240 points, followed by Spar dir den Weg in third, also with 240 points. A thrilling conclusion to a day where camaraderie and competitive spirit were equally in the spotlight.
Activities like this show how effective team building can be in Frankfurt: solving together, laughing together and celebrating together at the end. I am already looking forward to the next Murder Mystery Geocaching and more unforgettable moments in Frankfurt.
