Team Building Event Schloss Schule Kirchberg
As a team guide for CityHunters, I accompanied a Murder Mystery Geocaching for the Schloss Schule Kirchberg group in Würzburg on September 3, 2024 — an afternoon full of suspense, fun and genuine team spirit. The meeting point was Marienplatz, where I welcomed the 21 participants and gave a brief rundown of the plan. We then split the group into three teams and handed out the tablets with our app, which served as a guide through the city and the cases.
The mood was great from the start: friendly competition, plenty of laughter and curiosity about which clues would appear next. Our route took the teams past well-known sights — from the Würzburger Residenz over the Alte Mainbrücke up to the Festung Marienberg — with Würzburg providing the perfect backdrop for mysterious locations. This combination of exploring the city and detective work makes our team building experience in Würzburg especially impressive.
The teams worked independently, earning points by solving tricky puzzles and completing creative team tasks. Technology and adventure went hand in hand: the app showed crime scenes and challenges that needed to be solved together. As the guide I was available by phone and stepped in with help if there were questions or technical problems, keeping the flow of the game and the motivation high.
After two and a half hours everyone met back at Marienplatz for the awards. The atmosphere was exuberant, showing how much fun and energy can come from colleagues pulling together. The winning team Die Gewinner took first place with 195 points, closely followed by team Pablo also with 195 points. Third place went to Einstein with 180 points. Congratulations to all teams for their effort!
The weather cooperated, the sun was shining, and Würzburg looked its best. For me it was another great example of how Murder Mystery Geocaching can playfully strengthen connections and create genuine team experiences. Team building experience in Würzburg works wonderfully — on that day it became an event that will be remembered for a long time.
