Team Building Event Sozialstiftung Bamberg Altenhilfe gGmbH

The 15 participants from Sozialstiftung Bamberg Altenhilfe gGmbH met on August 29, 2024 at 1:30 p.m. for an exciting Geocaching event in Bamberg.

As the CityHunters team guide I welcomed the group at the tourist information office at Schloss Geyerswörth, gave a short introduction and divided everyone into four teams. After a brief explanation of the route and how to use the provided tablets with the CityHunters app, the teams were ready to discover Bamberg in a new, interactive way.

The route led past well-known sights such as Bamberg Cathedral, the Old Town Hall and Michelsberg Monastery. In our Geocaching format the focus is on team building experience in Bamberg: puzzles had to be solved, creative team tasks completed and hidden clues uncovered. Each team worked independently, with competition and shared determination providing plenty of drive and a great atmosphere.

During the tour I was available by phone for questions, but the groups showed a lot of initiative, combined their strengths and shared plenty of laughs. The perfect weather helped too: sunshine, good spirits and the special atmosphere of the old town made the experience a great mix of sightseeing and team training.

After exactly three hours everyone met back at the tourist information office at Schloss Geyerswörth for the awards ceremony. The suspense was high: the winning team DieBarbie scored 270 points. In second place was FANTA5, also with 270 points, followed by JUPISOLADI with 210 points. Regardless of placement, the shared experience was the real highlight — genuine progress in collaboration and many unforgettable moments.

This Geocaching event once again showed how effectively team building experience in Bamberg can work: entertaining, motivating and full of discoveries. Anyone who wants to get to know their colleagues in a different way will find with CityHunters a varied combination of game, competition and city tour.
