Team Building Event DekaBank
Perfect summer weather accompanied our evening run through the city and set the mood from the very beginning.
As a CityHunters team guide I had the pleasure of leading a fantastic Geocaching event on 29 August 2024 at 5:00 pm for 52 employees of DekaBank in Frankfurt. We met at Hauptwache, where I welcomed the group, gave a brief briefing and sent nine teams on their way. Equipped with our tablets and the CityHunters app, the teams set off on their own discovery journeys — the perfect mix of adventure and a shared challenge.
The route took them past some of Frankfurt's most beautiful spots: from the Römer through the Kaiserdom St. Bartholomäus to the Alte Oper, teams discovered well known landmarks and hidden corners alike. At each station they faced tricky puzzles and creative team tasks to earn points. This was a true team building experience in Frankfurt: thinking together, trying things out, laughing and celebrating successes — it brings people together and shows how well collaboration can work.
During the roughly two hour tour the groups competed for the highest score but were always able to reach me by phone with any questions. The atmosphere was consistently positive and motivating — genuine team building experience in Frankfurt that is fun and creates lasting moments. Many teams surprised each other with clever solutions and spontaneous ideas, exactly what makes these events so valuable.
At the end we met again at Hauptwache for the awards ceremony. The winning team was 8 Team with 240 points, closely followed by A Team also with 240 points, and in third place were the Frankfurterwürstchen with 210 points. Congratulations to all participants — the evening was a complete success.
