Team Building Event Syna GmbH
The sun was shining and the weather was perfect for our iPad Tour through Speyer.
As the CityHunters team guide I had the pleasure of welcoming 12 enthusiastic colleagues from Syna GmbH at Edith-Stein-Platz on August 28, 2024 at 10:00 AM. After a brief introduction to the iPads and the CityHunters App the participants were split into three teams and off they went on our modern Scavenger Hunt. Our Tour playfully blends technology, local highlights and lots of fun: a true team building experience in Speyer.
The teams explored the city center on their own, discovering the impressive Speyer Cathedral, the historic Altpörtel and the interesting Historical Museum of the Palatinate. At various stations they faced puzzles and creative team challenges that called for strategic thinking, keen observation and good communication. Points were shown live in the app, so the competitive spirit was always present — a team building experience in Speyer with an extra thrill.
I was reachable by phone during the Tour in case any questions came up or help was needed. Still, the groups had plenty of freedom to find their own solutions and strengthen their collaboration. Tasks like these promote exchange and cohesion within the team — exactly what good team building experience in Speyer is all about.
After about three hours everyone met back at Edith-Stein-Platz for the awards ceremony. There was great excitement when the winning team Speyerlinge was celebrated with 310 points. In second place was Eintracht with 254 points, and third place went to Team 2 the winners with 181 points. The top three teams received well-deserved medals as a keepsake.
It was a successful morning full of laughter, teamwork and fresh impressions of Speyer. Experiences like this create lasting bonds among colleagues and turn a simple company outing into a memorable highlight. I am already looking forward to the next round and more teams who want to discover Speyer in this interactive way.
