Team Building Event Deutsche Lufthansa AG
As a CityHunters team guide, on August 27, 2024 at 9:00 AM I led a dynamic Geocaching tour with a team from Deutsche Lufthansa AG in Zürich. We met at the Motel One on Stockerstrasse, a central starting point where we briefly got to know each other and I explained the rules, handed out the tablets with the CityHunters app, and went over the schedule.
The eight participants were split into two teams and given tablet-based tasks that took them across the city center. At our team building experience in Zürich, team spirit, puzzle fun and the thrill of discovery were the focus: the teams cracked codes, completed creative team tasks and searched for hidden clues. During the tour they were on their own, competing in a friendly contest for the most points — I was reachable by phone if help was needed.
The route took the groups past well-known sights and offered the perfect mix of culture and puzzle fun. Between historic facades and modern squares, participants rediscovered the city, taking in landmarks such as the Grossmünster, the Kunsthaus Zürich and the Fraumünster. The experience was therefore not only sporty and challenging, but also a little city tour full of aha moments.
The weather held up, keeping the mood relaxed and sunny. The tasks encouraged communication, quick decision-making and mutual trust — exactly what a team building experience in Zürich is all about. It was wonderful to see individual strengths come together and collaboration visibly improve.
After exactly three hours the teams met back at the Motel One on Stockerstrasse for the awards ceremony. There was a buzz of excitement when the points were announced: first place went to the team Lufthunters with an impressive 360 points; second place went to Irhoppas with 285 points. Applause and warm congratulations rounded off the finale.
Events like this show how a team building experience in Zürich brings people together in a playful way: fun, challenge and shared memories are guaranteed. I look forward to the next adventure in this wonderful city.
