Team Building Event Deutsche Bundesbank
The weather was perfect: sunny and warm — ideal conditions for our Murder Mystery Geocaching in Koblenz on 27 August 2024 at 4:00 PM with 18 enthusiastic participants from the Deutsche Bundesbank.
As team guide I met the group at Josef-Görres-Platz, gave a brief welcome and split everyone into four teams. After a short introduction each team received a tablet with our app, which guided them through the individual cases and stations. That was how our interactive murder mystery got underway: suspense, puzzles and a fresh perspective on the city.
During the route the teams were largely on their own and engaged in a friendly competition for the highest score. Points were awarded for correctly solving riddles and for creative team tasks that encouraged collaboration and communication. I was available by phone in case any questions or technical issues came up.
The route led participants past notable landmarks and turned familiar spots into little investigation stations. It was especially nice to see teams gather at viewpoints like the Deutsches Eck with the Kaiser Wilhelm monument, take in the atmosphere around the Electoral Palace or draw inspiration from the panorama toward Fortress Ehrenbreitstein. Moments like these show how a team building experience in Koblenz creates not only tasks but shared memories.
After exactly two hours all teams met again at Josef-Görres-Platz for the award ceremony. The winner podium was claimed by Schniffel Schlümpfe with a proud 270 points. In second place were Die Sieger with 210 points, closely followed by Digital Sherlocks with 195 points. The joy was great and the applause warm — a fitting end to an exciting afternoon.
This event once again demonstrated how much fun and added value a strong team building experience can bring: focus, creativity and above all shared enjoyment. A team building event in Koblenz can be wonderfully combined with exploring the city. I am already looking forward to the next time we play investigators together, crack puzzles and discover Koblenz from new angles.
