Team Building Event DS Deutsche Systemhaus GmbH
Twenty-four dedicated colleagues from DS Deutsche Systemhaus GmbH met punctually at Stadtpark Schwandorf for our Geocaching event on August 17, 2024, at 2:00 PM.
As the CityHunters team guide, I welcomed the group and gave a brief overview of the plan. After a quick split into five teams, each group received the clues and I explained how to use our app on the tablets, so nothing stood in the way of a relaxed and exciting tour of Schwandorf.
The team building experience in Schwandorf was at its best that afternoon: participants explored the town center, followed coordinates to well-known spots and discovered corners some had never seen before. Stops within sight of landmarks such as Fronberg Castle, St. Jakob and the Blasturm provided great photo opportunities and conversation starters.
While the teams were on their own and competing for the most points, they had to solve puzzles and complete joint team tasks creatively. Small challenges required communication, ingenuity and cooperation from all team members – exactly what the team building experience in Schwandorf makes so valuable.
I was reachable by phone throughout the tour and could quickly assist with questions. After two hours the app guided all groups back to Stadtpark Schwandorf, where we compiled the results and held the awards ceremony.
The winning team was Die Durschtigen with 315 points. In second place were Vikings, also with 315 points, and third place went to Team 1 with 270 points. The atmosphere during the debrief was lively and appreciative – everyone had fun and was able to celebrate their team’s success.
With perfect weather, the afternoon became a real highlight: shared joy in success, new memories of Schwandorf and a strengthened team dynamic. Geocaching is a wonderful form of team building experience – and this event clearly showed how well fun and cooperation go together.
