Team Building Event Zolar GmbH

Berlin is a city full of history, surprises and places just begging to be discovered.

On 15 August 2024 at 5:30 PM I had the pleasure as a CityHunters team guide to welcome the 38 participants from Zolar GmbH at the Neptune Fountain and set off on an exciting Murder Mystery Geocaching. The atmosphere was electric right away: perfect sunshine, expectant faces and the excitement of an active team building experience in Berlin.

After a short introduction I split the group into six teams. Each team received a tablet with our custom app, which presented the cases and guided the route through the city. Technology meets adventure: the app led teams to various locations where clues had to be found and puzzles solved — passing well-known sights such as the Brandenburg Gate, Museum Island and the Berlin Cathedral.

The participants were largely on their own during the tour and engaged in friendly competition for the highest score. Points were awarded for correctly solved puzzles and for creative team tasks that required cooperation and communication. I stayed reachable by phone in case questions or technical issues arose, so I could support without disturbing the teams' investigations.

After exactly two hours all teams returned to the Neptune Fountain for a shared award ceremony. The walk back to the starting point was full of laughter and conversation about the best discoveries — a clear sign of how effective a team building experience in Berlin can be. It was especially rewarding to see how different strengths within the teams came together to master tricky challenges.

This Murder Mystery Geocaching is a fantastic way to experience Berlin in a new light while strengthening team spirit. As a guide it was a pleasure to see how much joy and cohesion a well-organized team building event can create. I look forward to many more exciting assignments and to accompanying even more teams on their next team building experience in Berlin.
