Team Building Event Jacobi Carbons Service (Europe) GmbH
Seven participants from Jacobi Carbons Service (Europe) GmbH met on August 13, 2024 at 12:00 at Platz der Einheit to take part in an exciting Geocaching adventure in Potsdam.
As the CityHunters team guide, I welcomed the group and briefly explained the schedule: after an introduction and being split into three teams, the groups received the necessary clues and a device with the CityHunters app preinstalled to guide them along the route. This kicked off our interactive team building experience in Potsdam, full of energy, curiosity and anticipation for well-known sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Museum Barberini and the Nauener Tor.
During the tour the teams were on their own and competed in a friendly contest to earn the most points. Points were awarded for correctly solving puzzles, completing team tasks and spotting small hidden clues at characteristic locations around the city. The combination of puzzles, navigation and creativity is what makes Geocaching in Potsdam so special: you rediscover the city, strengthen bonds and, above all, have fun.
I was reachable by phone throughout the event in case any questions or minor issues came up — in practice the groups remained confident and creative. The weather cooperated, keeping spirits high and making the shared exploration of Potsdam's city center even more enjoyable.
After three hours everyone reconvened at Platz der Einheit for the awards ceremony: finishing first was the team Die Pudel des Todes with 240 points, followed by Gnubbelpupse with 225 points and Firewomen with 165 points. The winners received well-deserved medals and all participants could look back on a successful experience.
This Geocaching event was a perfect example of a successful team building experience in Potsdam: exciting, energizing and unifying.
