Team Building Event Flick Gocke Schaumburg Partnerschaft mbB
As a CityHunters team guide I had the pleasure on August 12, 2024 at 2:30 PM to lead a lively iPad Tour for 27 colleagues from Flick Gocke Schaumburg Partnerschaft mbB in Bonn. The meeting point was the entrance of the Schlosskirche where I welcomed the group and gave a short introduction to using the iPads and the CityHunters App. After a brief briefing the participants were split into four teams and the adventure could begin.
Our iPad Tour combined modern technology with discovering the city. The teams navigated independently through Bonn, explored squares and sights such as the Bonn Minster, the Beethoven House and Poppelsdorf Palace, and solved interactive puzzles and creative team challenges at various stations. The CityHunters App displayed the scores in real time and provided a motivating live chat so the competition remained tangible.
During the roughly two and a half hours the groups were left to their own devices and developed different strategies. Communication, observation and ingenuity were required. I was available by phone throughout the tour if teams needed assistance or technical questions arose. The weather was on our side, which lifted the mood and made exploring Bonn even more enjoyable.
The focus was clearly on fun and a team building experience in Bonn. Solving problems together, friendly competition and getting to know each other helped turn colleagues into enthusiastic teams. After two and a half hours everyone met again at the entrance of the Schlosskirche for the award ceremony. To the surprise of many the winning team Team1 came out first with 0 points and received their medals in a celebratory moment.
Such iPad Tours show how a team building experience in Bonn can be modern and tangible. A mix of local knowledge, team tasks and technology makes the event an unforgettable experience. I am already looking forward to the next team building event in Bonn and to more groups that want to discover our city in this interactive way.
