Team Building Event Kiekert AG
The 25 colleagues from Kiekert AG met punctually for the start of my iPad Tour on August 6, 2024 at 10:00 AM at Grabbeplatz in Düsseldorf.
As CityHunters team guide I warmly welcomed the group, gave a brief introduction to using the iPads and the CityHunters app, and divided everyone into teams — three teams then set off to explore the city.
Our iPad Tour combined modern technology with playful city exploration: the app was the hub, displayed live scores, and guided the teams to interactive challenges. This is how the team building experience in Düsseldorf came alive in a fresh, motivating way.
The teams were on their own during the tour and competed for the most points. By correctly solving puzzles and creatively mastering team tasks they collected points — I was reachable by phone in case anyone needed help.
Our route passed several well-known spots: short stops at Museum Kunstpalast, a view of the Rheinturm, and the elegant Königsallee offered brief challenges and opportunities for team photos. Everyone could feel how much fun a team building experience in Düsseldorf can be.
The weather cooperated perfectly, and the atmosphere was lively, focused, and cheerful at the same time. Many teams showed clever strategies and great commitment — exactly what makes a successful team building event in Düsseldorf.
After roughly three hours all groups met back at Grabbeplatz for a joint awards ceremony. The tension was high before the results were announced.
The day was crowned by the winning team: Die Gewinner secured first place with 230 points. Behind them were Größenwahn with 215 points and Team 2 with 175 points in second and third place.
For me as the team guide it was a wonderfully energetic morning: lots of laughter, creative solutions, and true team performance. Anyone wanting to experience a team building experience in Düsseldorf will find an ideal mix of city, culture, and team spirit here.
