Team Building Event DEIF GmbH
Our event concept combines history, culture and modern technology into an interactive city adventure – perfect for a team building experience in Bensheim.
As a CityHunters team guide, I had the pleasure of welcoming six motivated colleagues from DEIF GmbH at the market square on August 1, 2024 at 1:00 PM. After a brief introduction to the iPads and our app, participants were split into two teams. The mix of a high-tech Scavenger Hunt and classic puzzles immediately created a great atmosphere and excitement for the exploration of Bensheim.
The route led the teams to well-known spots in the town center: from the Mittelbrücke via St. Georg to Luginsland, each stop brought new tasks and challenges. The app was the hub: clues, tasks and the current score kept the groups on track and in friendly competition. In this way, collaborative problem-solving was encouraged in a playful way – a genuine experience for effective team building in Bensheim.
Although the weather was unpleasant at first, the day quickly turned into a positive adventure thanks to the good mood and camaraderie. Short breaks under sheltered awnings and the shared laughter during creative challenges made the rain almost irrelevant. Moments like these strengthen trust and show how resilient and resourceful teams can be.
During the tour the teams were largely left to their own devices and developed their own strategies to collect as many points as possible. I was reachable by phone for questions or technical issues and provided support without interrupting the fun. The combination of observation, creativity and quick decision-making made the tour particularly varied.
After about three hours everyone met back at the market square for the awards ceremony. During the group debrief it became clear how much the activity had strengthened team cohesion, exactly what we mean by a team building experience in Bensheim.
