Team Building Event Computacenter AG & Co. oHG
The concept behind our iPad Tour combines modern technology with a playful team building experience and a personalized city exploration — perfect for getting to know colleagues in a different way.
On July 30, 2024 at 5:30 PM I had the pleasure of welcoming 12 enthusiastic participants from Computacenter AG & Co. oHG at the Dorint Hotel Erfurt am Dom as a CityHunters team guide. After a short introduction to the iPads and the CityHunters app, the groups were split up and two teams set off on a points chase through Erfurt city center.
During the roughly 1.5-hour tour the teams were left to their own devices and competed against each other in good spirits. Those who solved puzzles fastest, observed closely and completed creative team tasks earned the most points. I was reachable by phone the entire time, so technical questions or other queries could be answered quickly.
The team building experience in Erfurt showed its best side that evening: the mix of exciting challenges and the historic surroundings made the event especially engaging. The teams wound through narrow streets, solved riddles near Erfurt Cathedral, paused at the Krämerbrücke and discovered corners around the Augustinian Monastery — always aiming to come out on top.
The weather was on our side and the mood was relaxed and motivating. Many participants used the tasks as an opportunity to get to know each other differently, to test communication, and to find solutions together. That is what a successful team building experience in Erfurt is all about: fun, joint effort and the sense of achievement at the end.
After 90 minutes everyone met again at the Dorint Hotel Erfurt am Dom for the awards ceremony. The winning team Milfhunters was celebrated with great applause after scoring an impressive 130 points. In second place was Besser als Team 2 with 100 points. Both teams showed great commitment and fairness — true team performance that brings people together.
At the end there was time for a short exchange about the best moments of the route and the most successful team strategies. Anyone looking for a team building experience in Erfurt will find our iPad Tour to be a refreshing, interactive format that promotes both fun and cohesion.
